Above Average

All throughout high school and university I was an average student – a typical or ordinary student. Back in the day (way back in the 60s) when we got grades for our academics I was a “C+” student – which was just average. Why was I satisfied with average? Looking back I would say that my motive was to just get through school with the least amount of study. I didn’t have any personal motivation to be better. My esteem wasn’t based on my academics. I played competitive sports all my life but was never the best. I was just average. I would define my averageness with the axiom “jack of all trades master of none”. more
