Missions

Missions at Southgate Church is at a very exciting crossroads as we are working diligently to stay faithful to the call that God has placed upon this house but also to see with God’s eyes that with which He has designed for us to accomplish in the days that lie ahead.

There is a strong realization that Missions is now shifting into a mutual phase, where we are realizing that we in the West are not the saving force in the world anymore. In fact, there are thriving churches on every continent and it is through working together that we can see the kingdom advance and grow. We are looking to partner with ministries, invest in leaders and combine good deeds with good news.
Technology is ever changing and we want to investigate how the gospel can be preached using the tools that daily come online for us.

These are exciting times, let us not miss what God is doing!

We are currently involved in Church plants in Spruce Grove Alberta, Gateway City Church with Pastors Craig and Kristi Henkelman, Tajimi Japan, New Life Church with Pastors Elwyn and Bonnie Fast. In Mandeville Jamaica, Generations Church with Pastors Dwight and Shanda Pinnock. In Winnipeg Manitoba, Southgate Christian Fellowship Winnipeg with Pastors Rommel and Maricar Eustaquio, in SanWan Taiwan, SanWan Church with Pastors InSu and SungHee Park , In Malawi Africa with Pastors Fanual and Esnate Makonzera – Church planters/Pastor over 3 countries – Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabawe.

We are also in relationship with Pastors in Cusco Peru, Iglesia Camino De Vida with Pastors Willi and Jessica Mont, Global Mission Church with Pastor Julio and Esther Chatata.

We are in relations with Jeff and Lenice Harms of Wycliffe Bible Translators in Indonesia, as well as Bible translators Ellie and Lila Quezada in Mitla, Oaxaca Mexico.
Also with Sandy Gannon serving with English Language Institute/China. Her location is Vietnam.
